Jada's Journey

Please join us at our September meeting for an eye-opening look at one mother’s struggles with her daughter’s mental illness and drug addiction.  Michele Pyster, of Jada’s Journey will share her very personal story and how she is trying help other families facing these issues.

Her adoptive daughter, Jada, passed away in June of 2021 after struggling for many years with addiction and mental health issues.  Unfortunately, she died from ingesting cocaine laced with Fentanyl.

Michele felt helpless when she couldn’t find resources or when health insurance capped off at a certain amount to support rehab and treatment programs.  Jada’s family wants to honor her memory by giving other families facing this journey financial assistance and resources.
